About
Farhoud Khosravi, D.O., is a board-certified gastroenterologist and recognized advanced therapeutic endoscopist. His experience includes pancreatic and biliary disorders, endobariatrics, esophageal disease, inflammatory bowel disease and general gastrointestinal conditions. After earning his bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Iowa, he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southern University in Florida. Dr. Khosravi then completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship training at Midwestern University, where he received the awards of Resident, Fellow and Teacher of the Year throughout his six years of post-graduate training in the Chicago area. He then went on to complete an additional fellowship in advanced therapeutic endoscopy at AZCDH/St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ.
He is proficient in the most complex endoscopic procedures such as endoscopic ultrasound, therapeutic ERCP, endoscopic mucosal resection, endoscopic submucosal dissection, endoscopic bariatric procedures, complex polypectomy, endoscopic suturing, stent placement and enteroscopy. Dr. Khosravi has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and was the first person globally to publish a video with the prestigious VideoGIE, describing a novel technique for pancreatic necrosectomy that is now widely used in practice by advanced endoscopists.
In his free time he enjoys time with his wife and 3 dogs, music production, hiking, wake surfing and snowboarding.
