Jared Martin, N.P., completed his Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. He attended the University of Cincinnati in Ohio, and received his Master of Science in nursing (MSN). He is board certified through ANCC. Between years of study and practicing, Jared served over 21 years in the Idaho National Guard, completing two tours to Iraq and later retiring in 2017.
At Mat-Su Heart, Jared specializes in cardiovascular care, focusing on prevention, treatment and lifestyle management. He is passionate about providing personalized care plans that address each patient's specific needs, fostering long-term health and wellness.
Jared moved to Alaska from Blackfoot, Idaho, in July 2021 with his family. When he’s not working with patients, Jared loves spending time outdoors with his family mountain biking, hiking, fishing, shooting and exploring the beauty of Alaska.
